Nigerians on Twitter react to FG’s comment on herdsmen’s killing under Jonathan

Nigerians in a series of tweets have lambasted the Presidency for saying that over 756 people were killed by herdsmen in two years under former President Goodluck Jonathan.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, had in a video he posted on his Facebook page insisted that the recent spate of killings by herdsmen in parts of the country had nothing to do with Buhari being Fulani, while comparing it to the number of deaths by these herdsmen under Jonathan’s administration in two years.
While some of the tweets agree that the killings need the government’s urgent attention as expressed by the special adviser, others think it is the height of insensitivity for Adesina to have rationalised these gruesome acts on the altar of politics, especially for those traumatised families.
