Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday commiserated with the Governor of Osun State, Mr Rauf Aregbesola over the passing away of his mother, Saratu Aregbesola.
The President’s media aide, Mr Garba Shehu stated that Buhari expressed sympathy with the governor via a telephone call.
Mrs Saratu Aregbesola who died in the early hours of Tuesday was laid to rest finally at her residence in Ilesa, Osun State according to Islamic rites.
The Deputy Governor, Otunba Titilayo Tomori Laoye, other executives, Lawmakers and political associates from across Osun State were all at the home of the late Madam Aregbesola to pay their last respect to the departed soul.
Islamic clerics at the final Prayer for the mother of the Osun State Governor harped on the need for all to understand that every individual born of man will eventually leave the surface of the earth one day, hence the need to always do good.
