*Reason Buhari invited Osinbajo to London for 30 minutes talk.
President Muhammadu Buhari even on his sick bed in London is having sleepless nights than ever, not over his ailment but for what insiders described as “another Deziani” in his cabinet. Having been Petroleum Minister some forty years ago, Buhari who knows the temptations in the industry had decided two years ago to take charge of the Office of the Minister of Petroleum to guide against the flurry of corruption that submerged Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
Olika Reporters can authoritatively report that President Buhari had few weeks ago invited Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to London on his sick bed to discuss and nib the troubling corruption, which is engulfing the Ministry of Petroleum with the Minister of State for Petroleum, Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu at the centre of it all.
Kachikwu is reported to be using his younger brother, Dumebi Kachikwu as front over the several deals he has been engaged in. The straw that broke the camel’s back was the N3.8 billion allegedly collected by Dumebi in exchange for a marginal oil field in the Niger Delta waters.
The deal blew open several months ago before President Buhari traveled back to London for his medical leave. Initial reports had indicted wife of the Presidency, Aisha Buhari. When the First Lady reportedly denied involvement, Buhari was said to have called the EFCC into the matter for through investigation. The reports of the EFCC investigation indicted Kachikwu’s brother, Dumebi.
When it became obvious that his appointment was shaky, the Minister of State for Petroleum flashed the militants card; raising alarm of an impending militants’ attack on oil installations in the Niger Delta. Ibe Kachikwu had remained very important to Buhari’s administration over his alleged successes in suppressing the militants against attacking oil installations in recent times. Reports however reached Presidency that Ibe Kachikwu actually organized the attack on oil installation attack through Dumebi and one Julius Ronie, another militant and warlord based in Maitama, to send home his relevance so that he remains in office.
Shortly after Osinbajo returned from the controversial visit to London, where he had gone to discuss the matter with Buhari, he quickly invited Chief E.K. Clark and some Niger Delta chieftains and wooed their support against militants attacking oil installations. Chief Clark gave his words and denied any planned attack by militants, which was what Kachikwu used in blackmailing the government.
Olika Reporters` investigations revealed that Reports have reached advanced stage to sack Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu as Minister of State for Petroleum while his brother will face prosecution over the many shady deals the EFCC recently uncovered.
Dumebi and Julius Ronnie apart from living very large in Nigeria, hops around the world in their private jets recently purchased just like Deziani and her cohorts.
